Overview

Introducing Wellington High Schools’ Model Security Council 2019! This exciting one-day event will allow you to fill the shoes of a member state of the United Nations Security Council and navigate some of the world’s most pressing issues from their perspective. It is your job to forge progress in these UN+Certain times.

This year you will be tasked with debating resolutions on climate change, cyberwarfare and foreign aid. With each of these issues posing big questions to the future of the international system, will you be able to create the necessary solutions?

Registrations for conference assistants and delegates open on the 1st of July.

  • Conference assistant applications close on the 22nd of July.
  • Delegate applications close on the 29th of July.
