Annual General Meeting

In accordance with clause eleven of our National Constitution, notice is hereby given of UN Youth New Zealand’s Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) to be held on Sunday, 1 December 2019 at Rutherford House, Pipitea Campus, Victoria University of Wellington at 3:00 PM

The purpose of the AGM is to receive the reports of the 2019 National Executive, 2019 Regional Presidents, and elect the 2020 National President and one Ordinary Director of the Establishment Board of Directors.

The 2019 National Executive and Regional President reports will be released in due course.



Nominations are now open for the 2020 National President role.

All those eligible to vote, but unable to physically attend the AGM are eligible to submit a proxy vote. Voting eligibility is outlined in our constitution. Proxy voting information will be released closer to the time.

According to the National Constitution of UN Youth, members cannot be nominated by those who are nominees themselves. Nominees also cannot nominate or second themselves. There are no restrictions on current National Executive members being nominated for the position.

Nominations are due to the Returning Officers at by 11.59 pm, 15 November 2019. No late nominations will be considered.



Nominations are also open for ONE Ordinary Director position on the UN Youth Board. Further information in regards to this position, and nominations, can be found here.

Nominations for Ordinary Directors will close 11.59 pm Wednesday 13 November.
