Calling all tertiary students in Auckland! Come along and participate in this year’s Case Competition, UN Youth Auckland’s flagship tertiary event. Put on your consultation hats as this competition is designed to challenge your minds and engage you in impactful solution-making for a pressing global issue.

Participants will take on the role as consultants on an international crisis to the UN. All registered participants will receive an email with the case 72 hours before your consultation, during which you will craft a potential solution to the issue and submit PowerPoint slides that capture your vision. At your consultation you will be given 10 minutes to present your solution followed by a 10 minute Q&A session with the panel of judges posing as UN representatives. All preliminary round presentations will be held between 19th and 22nd March 2018.

Finalists will be revealed by Thursday 22nd March and finalists will be given their case question 36 hours before their presentation time on Saturday 24th March 2018.

If you already have a team of 3-4, only one of the team members is required to register with us. If you don’t have a team, not need to fret – register as an individual and we’ll find you one!

If you have any issues or questions please contact the Teams Manager, Elisha Chye at elisha.chye@unyouth.org.nz
