WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE LAST AUCKLAND HIGH SCHOOL EVENT OF THE YEAR – AUCKLAND MODEL SECURITY COUNCIL 2018. 

Come and take part in UN Youth Auckland’s last high school event for the year: an action-packed one-day event that will offer you thrilling debate sessions, engaging workshops and speakers, and exciting simulations of the United Nations Security Council.

You, along with a large group of passionate Auckland students will:

  • take on the role of either a permanent member or current elected member in the UN Security Council;
  • participate in group sessions to engage with and debate methods of conflict mediation; and
  • take part in exciting interactive problem solving simulations to undertake different conflict mediation techniques. 

This event will take place on Saturday 22nd September at the University of Auckland, and we invite ALL high school students from across the Auckland region to register.
