Wellington Outreach Programme 2021

The Wellington Region is proud to introduce our Outreach events this year. Outreach events are events held outside Wellington city, but within the Wellington region, and this year they will be held in the Wairarapa, Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and Manawatū-Whanganui.

The ultimate aim of this is to bring UN Youth (Model United Nations) to students who are not usually able to travel to our events. This will be a chance, particularly for students who have not yet been able to experience a UN Youth event, to develop their skills and knowledge in an encouraging environment, and foster a passion for international affairs.

Our Outreach events are completely free, and are targeted towards students who have not attended a UN Youth event before, though all are welcome.

Dates and venues

Waiarapa MUN: 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday June 21st, Kuranui College

Hawke's Bay MUN Junior: 9:00am-3:00pm, Tuesday June 22nd, Iona College

Hawke's Bay MUN Senior: 9:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday June 23rd, Iona College

Gisborne MUN: 9:00am-3:00pm, Thursday June 24th, Campion College

Manawatū-Whanganui MUN: 10:00am-4:00pm, Saturday June 26th, Nga Tawa Diocesan School

This registration submission authorises UN Youth New Zealand the right to capture my image and likeness in photos, videos and other media footage (“footage”). Additionally, it authorises UN Youth New Zealand the right to edit, publish and distribute any and all footage of me without any compensation to be used for any lawful purpose (e.g. creating promotional material).This registration submission authorises UN Youth New Zealand the right to collect, store and use any and all demographic information of me to be used for any lawful purpose (e.g. tracking who our organisation is reaching). This demographic information will not be individually identifiable. The foregoing authorisations shall continue indefinitely unless I otherwise revoke them in writing to privacy@unyouth.org.nz.
